Where have all the cranes gone?
It has been estimated that up to 25% of the worlds cranes are in Dubai but, come on now, they’re building 3 billion square feet of city from scratch in the heart of the desert at a cost of 20 billion US dollars! And you have the opportunity of taking advantage of low prices whilst the project is being constructed. These are sure to spiral upwards once the project is complete and the world catches on to what Dubailand really represents.

Where is Dubailand?
Dubailand is located 10km inland from the Arabian Gulf on the desert side of the Emirates Road, the main highway that runs the length of the Emirate. Stretching from the Jebel Ali Habab Road to the Dubai Al Ain Road, this colossal zone will be served by the Jebel Ali airport to the west and the Dubai international airport to the east.
Getting to Dubailand could not be easier, taking only 10 minutes to the coast and the Jumeirah Beach resort, 10 minutes from Dubai international airport, 7 minutes from the new Jebel Ali airport, 20 minutes drive from the neighboring emirate of Sharjah and only an hour away from Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE.

Why buy in Sports City?
Due to the central location in Dubai, the Dubailand development is an excellent location for a permanent home in Dubai, and is perfect for buy to let and investment properties. The Dubailand development, when complete, will be a major tourist destination and one of the best locations for tourists to be based enabling easy traveling to all of the major attractions within Dubai; the theme parks, water parks and entertainment centres.
Sports City will be the first residential development to be completed within Dubailand, which provides the investor with a great short to medium term investment option. The sports facilities will start to be completed next year, with the cricket stadium one of the first venues to be ready for world class competitions. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum has already scheduled a world class cricket tournament to take place in 2009 to mark the opening of the world’s first sports city, with many more world class events to follow. The Ernie Els golf course is also well underway, with 6 of the holes now grassed and completed, and the remaining holes well on their way to completion.
